Jacobson Nautilus #19

Tight-grained Alaskan Yellow Cedar top.
Parallel tone bar bracing, Nouveau f-holes
Extra-Deep body for added warmth and a “vintage”-sounding tone profile
Highly figured Bigleaf maple back, quarter sawn
5-piece figured maple and mahogany neck
Compound radius Gabon ebony fretboard w/ recon stone linear vine inlay, Malachite leaves
1 1/8″ nut width
C shaped neck, fairly slender
.080″ x .040″ frets (“Banjo frets”)
Glossy French Polish finish over oil varnish
There is no plastic binding — the mahogany, maple and fumed eucalyptus (black stripes) sides act as binding, and the fretboard feels just like a bound neck (undercut fret tangs, and the fret slots do not extend to the edge)
Jacobson ebony bridge, ebony-capped maple saddle compensated for D’Addario J73’s
Jacobson engraved aluminum tailpiece with ebony harmonic suppressor cap
Schaller tuners with custom ivoroid buttons
